Why Reformation Deserves Some Major Love

It’s 2017. We live in a world where the President of the United States doesn’t believe in global warming/climate change, even though the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) tracks how our climate is changing and warns us of dangerous impacts to our health and environment.

And numerous scientists have published data proving otherwise. Alternative facts, right Donald? Wrong. SO Wrong. The truth is, we’re wasting more and conserving less. And it’s time the fashion industry take note.

That’s where Reformation comes in. Founded in 2009, the brand is chic and edgy. It has a simple, cool-girl feel.

What sets it apart?

The brand has made it their mission to pave the way for sustainable fashion. They manufacture all of their clothing using sustainable methods and materials, sourcing sustainable fabrics and repurposed vintage materials. Printed on each clothing tag is:

“A Care Label That Actually Cares.”
I’ll add another item to my shopping cart.

Reformation also has something called a RefScale, which tracks its environmental footprint by adding the pounds of carbon dioxide emitted, gallons of water used, and pounds of waste generated.

The RefScale is available on every product page on the website, helping shoppers make the most informed decisions about their purchases. The “Impact of Fashion” section on the website educates shoppers about the fashion industry’s impact on our water and air.

I am SO about this. Fashion girls, it’s time to clean up our act.
Will you join the reformation?
