All The New Makeup We Can’t Wait To Get Our Hands On

If I had a dollar for every new product release, I’d probably finally get my hands on one of those expensive Natasha Denona Palettes. But that’s not the point. The point is that we see a lot of new beauty products these days, so many that I’m almost desensitized to them. Almost! Fortunately, there are still innovative and exciting products being made, and I want to try every one of them.

While there’s a lot of new makeup being released almost daily, these are the products that will inspire you to try something a little different, which I think we all need from time to time.

Kaja is a new K-Beauty brand with a lot of fun products, but this Roller Highlighting Balm really caught my eye. Creamy highlighters are great for a natural glow, and the unique roller applicator will make doing your makeup a little more fun. The balm is free of parabens, sulfates, and other ingredients you might want to steer clear of. This would also make a great gift, especially for someone just getting into makeup.

There are a few good colorful mascaras already out there, but ColourPop’s BFF Mascara just looks so bright and pigmented. It comes in the original black as well as 6 exciting colors, like yellow, pink, and teal. Consider this an effortless way to totally change up your look and incorporate some color where we usually don’t use it.

You’ve probably heard about Charlotte Tilbury’s Matte Revolution Lipsticks, especially the shade Pillow Talk, which has come to be known as a universal nude. I’m here to tell you that this lipstick lives up to the hype, and Pillow Talk has become my new daily shade. Charlotte just released the shade Super Nineties, described as a deep tawny-brown nude. Finally, you can reveal your inner ‘90s supermodel with this limited-edition shade.

This dual-ended liquid eyeshadow by Huda Beauty looks super easy and fun to use. One end is a matte formula you can wear alone or as a base for the other end, which is a metallic and sparkly shadow.

After years of matte liquid lipsticks, Rihanna reminded us it was okay to love lip gloss with the release of Fenty Gloss Bomb. Brands followed suit and we’re seeing more lip glosses, like the Gloss Angeles gloss by Smashbox. It has a non-sticky formula with hyaluronic acid to moisturize lips while vitamin E keeps them nourished and soft. There are 14 shades including nudes, rich pinks and purples, as well as some with a little shimmer.

Some people have to go through tons of mascaras to find one that will work for them. Mascara wands can be too bulky and messy, so L’Oréal created the Unlimited Mascara with an adjustable wand to make it easier. With the wand bent at an angle you can get deep into the inner corners of your eye to apply mascara to every lash.

Red lipstick isn’t the most innovative beauty product, but there’s just something about these KKW Beauty Crème Lipsticks that makes me want to try them all. There are four classic red shades in this collection, but the bright orange-red shade Hot Sauce is calling my name.

This limited-edition Velour Lip Party probably isn’t for beginners, but I think it would make a pretty cool addition to any makeup bag. The compact contains a moisturizing base balm and three powder shades so you can be creative with your lip look. The powders have a matte finish with a metallic sheen and can be applied with your finger or a brush for a more precise application.

This jelly highlighter by WetnWild has a cream to powder finish that will illuminate your skin. Could it be a dupe for Farsali’s Jelly Beam? We’ll have to wait and see. Use it alone or mix it with a moisturizer or primer to add a little shimmer.
