The show opened with church bells ringing and Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “All of the Stars” playing from the speakers. The gates of heaven were used as background for the catwalk. Once the show started, the gates opened, and drones flew out modelling Dolce & Gabbana handbags up and down the runway. The show proceeded with models in human form sporting church-inspired designs. Iconic D&G looks such as black lace, body-con dresses and floral prints were mixed with veils, capes, and priest collars. The show-goers had clearly stepped into the church of fashion devotion.
