Glossier teams up with WNBA superstars in its latest beauty campaign

Known for its authenticity, beauty empire Glossier recently launched its latest campaign for Body Hero featuring the superstars of WNBA.

Glossier’s Body Hero was first introduced in 2017 with an oil-infused body cleanser and lotion and has now expanded with its newest products: an oil mist and an exfoliating bar. 

The Body Hero Dry-Touch Oil Mist is an orange blossom-scented body oil that deeply nourishes dry skin, and absorbs quickly with no residue. The Body Hero Exfoliating Bar is a light pink body scrub containing biodegradable bamboo powder that also targets dryness and smoothes away dead skin. Both products are vegan and cruelty-free, and they also come in eco-friendly packaging.

Aside from the new additions, Glossier followers and sports fans were thrilled to see the beauty brand team up with the stars from WNBA. The new campaign is a major win for the sports community, with the campaign highlighting topics like finding beauty through athleticism and self-love. It features 16 different Body Heroes total, with eight WNBA players: ​Sue Bird​ ​of the Seattle Storm, ​Seimone Augustus​ of the LA Sparks, ​Lexie Brown​ ​of the Minnesota Lynx, ​Kalani Brown​ of the Atlanta Dream, Amanda Zahui B.​ of the New York Liberty, ​Natalie Achonwa​ of the Indiana Fever, and ​Stefanie Dolson​ and ​Gabby Williams​ of the Chicago Sky.

The WNBA players will share their #BodyHero stories through self-video content across all Glossier platforms, giving viewers a glimpse into their everyday lives as professional athletes during the pandemic inside the WNBA “wubble” (the women’s version of the NBA’s bubble).
