With each forthcoming editorial, I will introduce a new muse of mine and an original beauty look inspired by their persona.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-695 aligncenter lazyload\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-src=\"https:\/\/nobasicgirlsallowed.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Liz-Pinto-Polaroid.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"553\" height=\"697\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>In classic 21st century fashion, I came across Liz while I was scrolling Instagram a few years ago.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> In the first picture I saw of her, she was styled in long white-blonde braids and she looked so fantastical and elf-like. I\u2019m a dreamer so I\u2019m definitely charmed by fantasy. Mystical worlds and realms; elves, fairies, aliens; myths about magical, far away places. So her whole vibe caught my attention right away. When I was in the planning stage of the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New Era <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">beauty series, I slid into her DM\u2019s and asked her if we could do something together. She was down, and the rest is history. <\/span><b>Liz is even more fly IRL \u2013 it\u2019s no mystery why she was a muse for this project. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Her facial composition? A dream to work with. Her presence? Authentic, grounded, and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">so <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">hilarious. I felt a connection right away. She reminded me of my friends from the suburbs of Paris who live life in such a real, unfiltered way. And this look <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">for people who aren\u2019t afraid to play with their shadow side; who wear their dark sense of humor like a family heirloom. With all heart and zero bullshit, Liz owned this look like no other. <\/span><b>One memorable moment from the shoot <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">was when Liz and I were bonding over the differences between bread in the US and Europe.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>BEAUTY BREAKDOWN?<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>To put it simply, this look is:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Dark and daring. For the cool and casual temptresses, every day love magnets, Scorpios et al.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>LOOK INSPIRATION<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I wanted to portray an energy that was a subtle blend of Aaliyah <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00e0 la<\/span> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Queen of the Damned <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and every version of Catwoman since the 60s \u2013 tight black leather, shadowy liaisons, dark eyes, seductress activity. I first discovered the lip combination on Sophia Sinot\u2019s IG \u2013 as soon as I saw this look I knew I wanted to bring it to life on the right face at some point. This look is not for everyone! Basics, beware.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>EYES<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Liz came onto set with her brows already bleached which allowed us to play up her eyes. We used MAC Cosmetics\u2019 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maccosmetics.com\/product\/13838\/1347\/products\/makeup\/eyes\/eyeliner\/technakohl-liner\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Technakohl Eyeliner<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in rich graphic black, doubled up with their Feline Kohl pencil in the waterline which gave us an ultra black rimmed eyeliner look with lots of saturation and punch. We added a leather brown eyeshadow stick from <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ph.sunniesface.com\/products\/eyecrayon\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sunnie\u2019s Face<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the shade Earth onto the lid to hollow out the socket whilst also bringing it underneath to soften out the black liner under the eye. On the brows, we applied Sensorium Beauty\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sensoriumbeauty.com\/product\/brow-engineer\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Brow Engineer<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to enhance the model\u2019s bleached brows. We finished the eyes off with a lot of MAC Cosmetics\u2019 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maccosmetics.com\/product\/13839\/99811\/products\/makeup\/eyes\/mascara\/macstack-mascara\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Stack Mascara<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and some MAC lash clusters for an added <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">oomph <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">factor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>LIP<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the lip combination, we used the NARS <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.narscosmetics.com\/USA\/precision-lip-liner\/999NAC0000054.html?dwvar_999NAC0000054_color=7845090991\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Precision Lip Liner<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in Nasty Girl, a vivid and deep midnight black, to create a sharp and strong lip line around the lips but also through the center of the mouth. We then added a layer of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.byredo.com\/eu_it\/makeup\/make-up-products\/colour-stick\/?gclid=Cj0KCQiA8aOeBhCWARIsANRFrQFQqLbSNwgyml2mZSpAGriyb6ZuUuJYTxcaqEHro3eGa2P0yVS62YAaAnyvEALw_wcB\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BYREDO\u2019s Color Stick in Dravite<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 a perfectly smoky deep crystallized brown \u2013 so that we could take a clean eyeshadow brush to feather and blend the liner into the lips, leaving that strong center line intact. We finished with clear <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.byredo.com\/eu_it\/liquid-lipstick-fantome\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fant\u00f4me<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> gloss from BYREDO.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>SKIN<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We wanted this look to be very dreamy and lit from within, so we prepped the skin with Pat McGrath\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.patmcgrath.com\/products\/divine-skin-rose-001-the-essence?variant=40015716286533\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Divine Skin rose essence<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to create a voluminous, hydrated base.
