Jazzelle Zanaughtti’s Skincare Routine

Nothing will have you rewatching an Instagram story over and over again like your girl crush spilling her skincare secrets. Well, last week model Jazzelle Zanaughtti aka @uglyworldwide did just that. She blessed us with her morning skincare routine on her Instagram story and we made notes. There was definitely nothing ugly about her dope skin. But don’t worry if you missed it, because we took careful notes. Check them out below:

Step 1: Greeting her followers in a blazing orange hoodie Zanaughtti starts off her morning with Lush’s Let The Good Times Roll cleanser. The scrub can be used on both body and face and is meant to brighten and moisturize the skin. One of its main ingredients is corn oil, which helps deliver max hydration from head-to-toe.

Step 2: Next she follows up with another Lush pick, the  Don’t Look At Me Mask. This treatment is mighty as it exfoliates, moisturizes and tones the skin all at once. According to Lush, “ground rice gently scrubs away dry skin, murumuru butter moisturizes and zingy lemon juice tones.” Umm, count me in.

Step 3: The suggested leave-in time for the mask is 15 minutes, which is just enough time to catch up on emails and/or sip on a cup of tea. During this window Zanaughtti enjoys a cup of coffee, with a dash of almond milk, and highlights the importance of staying hydrated giving a major a shout out to Essentia Ionized Alkaline Water because, “the pH on poppin.” Brb, on my way to Whole Foods.

Step 4: Time to wash off the mask! To get the full effect gently massage as you rinse.

Step 5: Now that your face is a squeaky-clean it’s time to tone! Here, Zanaughtti  follows up with a generous amount of NOW Tea Tree Oil all over her face, which is brave af. If your skin can’t handle that spot treat or dilute…heavily.

Step 6: Next is my favorite part of any skincare routine – moisturizer! She uses an argan and jojoba facial oil to balance her skin after thorough cleansing and toning.

Step 7: IMO you can never go wrong with more moisturizer and our fellow girl crush seems to agree – she finishes off with  Weleda’s Skin Food to lock in all of the oil’s goodness. Although, as she mentions, it is meant for elbows, hands and feet, the cream is her beauty hack to soft, smooth and hydrated skin.

Step 8: And finito! Ms. @uglywordwide leaves us with all the skin envy.
