Moschino and Palace have dropped their first collaboration and it is absolutely fire. Inspired by peace, love and hugs, this epic luxe-skatewear collection is the coolest collaboration of 2020.
Vivid pink, blues and greens dominate the collection. Think printed puffer jackets, hoodies, logo-emblazoned t-shirts, shearling jackets and my personal favourite, a leather milk carton bag. Each item is a guaranteed head turner. The collaboration was once a vision by Palace founder, Lev Tanju and Moschino’s Creative Director, Jeremy Scott. After years of friendship, the duo decided to make their vision a reality.
In an interview with Vogue, Lev Tanju said: “Everyone we collaborate with is quite personal to us at Palace. We tend to do it with brands we really admire, appreciate, and wear a lot if it’s a clothing collaboration. On a selfish, personal level, I’ve always respected them as a super fun but chic brand. I’ve always just wanted to work with them.”
“What’s really been different about this collaboration is that I let them steer it… The final result is very steeped in that British, 1990s, Moschino Jeans [era], going out to dance parties and raves culture.”
The Palace X Moschino collection is available to shop online on the Palace website and is available in stores worldwide, from November 20.
