You might recognize them from their substantial Instagram presence, their collaborations with Nike, H&M or Calvin Klein, or maybe from their cameo in Drake’s iconic “Nice For What” music video (or other Drake productions). The Kaplan Twins aka Lexi and Allie are no strangers to NBGA (check out our profile on them here. Their cheeky paintings provide interesting social commentary are gaining them recognition in the art world as well as popularity online. They keep a comedic element in their work and don’t take themselves too seriously, just like with their fashion. #4 Shannon and Shannade Clermont
Georgia natives Shannon and Shannade Clermont came onto the scene in 2015 by starring on the TV show Bad Girls Club. Since then they’ve gone on to model for countless campaigns including Yeezy season 6 and launch their own fashion line, Mont Boudoir. A few days ago though, Shannade Cermont was arrested and is facing charges on wire fraud, access device fraud, and aggravated identity theft. It’ll be interesting to see how this whole situation pans out, and if the internet will still be as obsessed with the duo once one of them is serving time.
