The music I listen to literally hasn’t evolved since I was 15. And who can blame me? My 15-year-old self had exquisite taste. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good contemporary bop too. However, there’s just something so iconic about music from the 90’s and 2000’s that I can’t seem to find in artists such as Ariana Grande and Dua Lipa. I guess that’s what happens when the passage of time is combined with a serious case of nostalgia. Either way, I’ll always see music from the past couple of decades as the greatest of all time.
Although I do believe I’ll love Ciara’s Goodies and Gwen Stefani’s Love Angel Music Baby till the day I die, I have to admit; sometimes I feel like I need to mix it up a little.
